This service provides a wide variety of family support including welfare checks for the local authority, support for parents around boundary setting and family relationships, and sometimes taking a child or young person out to enjoy positive activities if things are becoming challenging in the home. We have also worked alongside families who are being reunified as part of a return from assessment or a return from foster care or children’s accommodation, and have supported young people who are giving evidence in court, or who are waiting for or leaving a Tier 4 Mental Health bed.
