New children’s home manager joins our growing team

We’re delighted to welcome one of our latest senior appointments.

Emma Phelps has joined the CF Team, to manage Tutum House, our children’s home based in Ipswich.

Emma joined the team in October, having previously worked as a senior and deputy manager in other children’s homes in the county.

Prior to this, Emma worked for many years in the nursing profession, working in schools and within hospital A&E departments and children’s wards.

Emma, who lives in Beccles said: “I’ve been warmly welcomed into the CF Team and have found a fantastic team of people at Tutum House and across the business, with the shared goals of supporting young people and their families.

“Tutum House is performing brilliantly in terms of the level of care and support provided to the young people living there. I want to build on this, empowering the young people we work with towards positive lives and outcomes.

“It’s great to have a wider team across the business, both within the children’s homes and wider in our education and therapeutic services, that we can draw on to support each other and share best practice.”

Tutum House is based in a residential are of Ipswich and can support up to three young people. More information on the home, which is rated as ‘good’ by Ofsted, can be found here.
