Children's Home Residential Support Workers

CF Children’s Home Ltd provide residential services for young people aged from 7-17 in a homely environment.

Our aim is to support young people to increase their self-esteem, build positive relationships, build trust in others and re-engage in education with a view to building a brighter future for themselves.

Experience in this field is advantageous, however if you are someone who is patient and caring and enjoys learning new skills and experiences we would like to offer you the opportunity to join our team of dedicated and enthusiastic staff and work alongside people who are experienced in this area. We offer a comprehensive induction and training package for our team with the opportunity for career development within our growing company.

Requirements

We require that all of our Residential Support Workers are:

Passionate about developing our future generation
Dedicated and committed to empowering young people to achieve their full potential
Compassionate and reflective
Have the ability to remain calm and professional when a young person is in a crisis
Are solution focused
Can be flexible and responsive in order to meet the needs of our young people which can change from day to day
Possess excellent communication skills
Have a full driving licence

Responsibilities

Providing person centred support to young people with all aspects of their daily lives within a homely environment
Providing encouragement to all young people to work towards achieving their goals
Provide security and safety to young people
Working with a statutory framework
Build trusting and lasting relationships with young people
Working closely with the management team and outside agencies to ensure the young people receive the best possible care and support
