Independent Social Workers

CF Social Work are a leading provider for independent social work and psychologist assessments. We are always recruiting highly qualified independent social workers and psychologists to join our team and undertake Specialist Assessments on behalf of the company.

We provide a variety of assessments to LA’s and commissioners including:

Parenting assessments

Special Guardianship Orders

Together and Apart Assessment

Connected Carers

Form F

PAMs

Sibling Assessments

Risk Assessment

Psychologist assessments

All our ISW/IP roles are offered on a self-employed basis.

Requirements to join the team:

  • A minimum of 5 years post qualifying experience, with experience completing child and family assessments.
  • Experience and knowledge of complex childcare cases
  • Familiar with court processes
  • Experience providing evidence within court as an expert witness.
  • Key experience as an assessor
  • Excellent report writing skills

ISW/IP’s are instructed solely for their assessment skills, ability and their experience of giving expert opinion in court, so your CV must document these skills and experiences

  • If your application is shortlisted, you will be interviewed by a Senior Social Worker and the ISW Project Manager.
  • If successful at interview you will be offered an independent post subject to successful completion of our compliance process, including DBS checks, references and professional barring checks.
